Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Cath Lab Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Title : Cath Lab Tech Location : Anchorage, AK Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day, 4x10 hours (07 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PM) Job Responsibilities : Perform cardiac catheterization lab procedures including diagnostic catheterizations, angioplasty, stent placements, and electrophysiology studies Monitor patients accurately and maintain sterile field while scrubbing Assist with electrophysiology lab procedures such as cardiac ablation, arrhythmia induction, cardiac mapping, and pacemaker insertion Support interventional radiology procedures including embolizations, biopsies, vascular interventions, and neurological studies Float within scope to Cath Lab or related units as needed Use McKesson and Epic charting systems Participate in on-call duties (3 nights / week, no weekends) and occasional weekend shifts as part of regular schedule Required Skills and Qualifications : Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab or related experience (IR experience preferred but not required) Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, and either ARRT (R) or RCIS Familiarity with peripheral procedures and electrophysiology lab work strongly preferred Ability to perform EKG lead placement, maintain sterile field, and assist with advanced cardiovascular and neurointerventional procedures Experience with Philips X-Ray systems, atherectomy, thrombectomy devices, and rhythm interpretation preferred Must be able to float within Cath Lab and EP Lab as needed Must be willing to work on-call shifts (3 nights / week, 2 hours / night) and occasional Saturdays as part of normal schedule Preferred Skills : RCIS or ARRT certification for Cath Lab Experience with CTO, peripherals, venous access, and temporary LVAD support Knowledge of McKesson and MacLab / Cardio Lab software About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies : Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) , proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs .
