Certified Professional Coder

A company is looking for a Professional Coder.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately code medical records for various services and procedures

Work independently to meet project deadlines while maintaining confidentiality

Stay updated on new coding rules and maintain department production and quality standards

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of coding experience in multiple specialties

CPC or CCS-P certification required; CPMA, CEMC preferred

Sound knowledge of medical terminology

Experience with Athena preferred

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word
