Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our Client's medical imaging team at their Level 1 Trauma hospital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, as well as proficiency in aseptic techniques and diagnostic evaluation.

Duties

• Perform CT scans on patients according to established protocols and procedures.
• Ensure patient safety by following proper aseptic techniques and adhering to radiation safety guidelines.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
• Preparing patients for scans, including obtaining medical history and shielding sensitive areas

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ Most recent years as CT Tech (OR a Rad Tech who wants to cert up)
• ARRT (CT) Certification (OR (R) certification wanting to cert up to (CT))
• Proficient knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
