On-Call Shift Schedule : Friday 5 : 00 PM – Monday 8 : 00 AM (24-hour weekend call)
Call Type : In-House with 30-minute response time
Call Ratio : Two weekends per month
Call Response Time : 30 minutes

Credentialing Timeline : 60 days

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered (Airfare, lodging, mileage, rental car & fuel)

Lodging Cap : $150 / night before taxes / fees (no incidentals permitted)

Rental Car : Mid-Size (Apr–Nov), Mid-Size 4WD SUV (Dec–Mar)

Holiday Bonus : $500 for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Interventional cardiology procedures as clinically indicated

General cardiology care during weekend shifts

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses : Active Illinois license (IMLC not accepted)

Board : Board Certified in Cardiology (Interventional)

DEA : Active DEA Certification required

Certifications : ACLS, CSR

Experience : Minimum 1 year in specialty

Other Qualifications : Proficiency with Cerner EMR

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide interventional and general cardiology services during weekend call shifts

Participate in 24-hour weekend call coverage two weekends per month

Round on patients Saturday and Sunday (4–5 hours each day)

Respond to emergent patient needs with a 30-minute response time

Provide clear documentation of patient encounters and interventions
