We’re looking for an experienced data architect like you to deliver leading-edge solutions for criminal justice professionals.

As a data architect on our criminal justice team, you’ll use your extensive technical expertise to design data architecture solutions for big data analytics. You’ll resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by analyzing data architecture-related business needs.

In this role, you’ll grow your technical expertise, apply best practices and use tools like SQL, SSIS (SQL Server Integration) to design ETL processes. You’ll guide your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components, and you’ll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met and solutions are delivered.

Responsibilities

  • Design data architecture solutions for big data analytics in support of criminal justice professionals.
  • Resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams.
  • Design ETL processes using SQL and SSIS; guide the team in designing, defining, developing, and testing cloud solution components.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure requirements are met and solutions are delivered.
  • Drive processes and lead technological innovation to make an impact on national criminal justice needs.

You Have

  • Experience with SQL Server DB Management and Oracle DB Management
  • Experience with ETL design and development, particularly SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS)
  • Experience with relational database design and architecture
  • Public Trust
  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in database and application programming or Master’s degree and 8+ years of experience in database and application programming
  • Nice If You Have

  • Expertise with PowerShell
  • Experience with system migration
  • Experience with testing and validation
  • Knowledge of cloud-native software and data architecture
  • Vetting

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including location, the individual’s combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
