Electrical Proposal Engineer - Plymouth, Michigan

Responsibilities
- Generate sales proposals including drawings (initial concept), technical specifications, and cost estimates.
- Ensure customer requests are satisfied in the sales proposal; attend customer meetings and conference calls as required.
- Review contracts before order acceptance.
- Act as the liaison between engineering and sales departments to ensure project success.
- Review sales information to determine if sufficient data exists to prepare a proposal.
- Distribute sales requests to other departments as required.
- Set up and track all sales requests properly.
- Evaluate performance against tracking log with metric analysis.
- Report status of engineering sales requests to the sales team.
- Balance workload with various deliverables and due dates.
- Work safely using all available safety equipment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Possess mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechatronics engineering, or equivalent.Minimum of 10 years' experience in the design of electrical and / or electromechanical systems.Minimum of 3 years' experience with integration of machine control systems, data acquisition systems, and / or PLC control logic.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Technical field experience is a plus.Knowledge of practical application of engineering science and technology, including principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment for design and production.Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.AutoCAD (or equivalent) knowledge.Ability to prepare complex written reports and other documentation.Basic knowledge of MS Office.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Physical Requirements
