Job Summary :

Seeking experienced Respiratory Therapists to provide care for patients in an acute care setting. Responsible for administering respiratory therapies, monitoring ventilated patients, and supporting physician-directed care in critical and non-critical settings.

Qualifications :

A.A.S. in Respiratory Therapy

NYS license / registration as a Respiratory Therapist

Minimum 2 years post-A.A.S. clinical acute care experience

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Duties :

Administer positive pressure and aerosol therapies

Institute and monitor oxygen therapy

Assist physicians with continuous ventilation management

Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Perform pulmonary function tests and radial arterial punctures

Provide majority of patient care functions in the acute care setting with minimal orientation and supervision
