Professor of Clinical Pediatrics (Division of Neonatology) - CHLA

Overview

Professor of Clinical Pediatrics (Division of Neonatology) – CHLA, in collaboration with the Keck School of Medicine of USC and the CHLA Fetal and Neonatal Institute, seeks a full-time faculty member for a non-tenure track position at the Associate Professor level or higher. The role is clinically focused, contributes to pediatric resident and neonatal-perinatal fellow education, and provides clinical service in the CHLA NICU and affiliated community NICUs.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical service in the 58-bed, level IV NICU at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and in community NICUs.
• Contribute to education of pediatric residents and neonatal-perinatal fellows.
• Engage in clinical activities within the Fetal and Neonatal Institute and the CHLA-USC Maternal-Fetal Center.
• Participate in teaching, quality improvement, patient outcomes research, and other scholarly activities as applicable to a clinician educator role.

Compensation

The annual base salary range for this position is $158,177 $517,500 per year. When extending an offer of employment, USC considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's experience, education / training, key skills, internal equity, applicable laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, and market considerations.

Academic appointment through USC Keck School of Medicine is available at a level appropriate to training and experience.
