LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Critical Care NP in Cincinnati, Ohio, 45237!

About The Position

  • Position Description

Bon Secours Mercy Health – St. Vincent Medical Center is seeking Locum Critical Care – Neuro coverage to support a hospital-based practice. This role involves caring for adult patients in a Level 1 trauma, comprehensive stroke facility. Coverage is needed due to a vacancy in the position.

  • Job Details
  • Setting : Hospital-Based, Neuro ICU + Neurosurgery consults
  • Dates of Coverage : Late October / Early November 2025 – February / March 2026
  • Schedule : Night shifts, no call required
  • Patient Population : Adults only (100%)
  • Trauma Volume : ~40%
  • Inpatient : 100%
  • Census : ~10 patients per night in Neuro ICU + ~5 neurosurgery consults / night
  • Support :
  • 2 Neuro-Intensivists (available by phone nights)
  • 3 Advanced Practice Providers
  • Onsite Lab & X-ray
  • Trauma Level : Level 1 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center
  • EMR : Epic

    Job Requirements

  • Requirements
  • Board Certified (PA or CNP licensed in Ohio) – Required
  • Active Ohio license – Required
  • Clean background – Required
  • BLS & ACLS – Required
  • ENLS – Highly preferred
  • Experience covering Neuro ICU in a Level 1 Trauma Center – Required

    • Must be comfortable managing stroke patients and covering neurosurgical consults at night – Required

  • Travel & Lodging
  • All bookings must be standard / economy
  • Lodging capped at $107 - $116   (must be pre-approved if higher)
