As the Commercial Escrow Officer or Closer, you will play a pivotal role in our operations, serving as the primary point of contact for complex commercial real estate transactions. This position represents the cornerstone of our commercial division in Texas, requiring exceptional expertise in managing high-value, multi-faceted property closings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Draft, review, and interpret complex legal documents including contracts, closing statements, deeds, affidavits, and settlement statements with meticulous attention to detailCalculate and verify prorations, payoffs, and disbursements for multi-million-dollar transactionsConduct thorough file examinations to ensure all closing requirements are satisfied prior to fundingFacilitate signing appointments with clear explanations of all documents for clients and attorneysDisburse funds accurately and promptly according to closing instructions and legal requirementsMaintain comprehensive and well-organized transaction files that meet audit standardsEnsure strict adherence to Department of Insurance regulations, RESPA, and other applicable state and federal requirementsEnsure strict adherence to Department of Insurance regulations, RESPA, and other applicable state and federal requirementsDevelop and implement best practices for the commercial escrow departmentCORE COMPETENCIES

Book of business- ideally $1MM to $5MM+Texas Escrow Officer License in good standingRequires at least 5 or more years in handling complex commercial transactions. A special emphasis on raw land development, light industrial, and multi-use and multi-family developmentDemonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
