Physician Assistant Job Details

Location : Canonsburg, PA 15317 – Conveniently located near Pittsburgh, offering excellent schools, vibrant amenities, and a welcoming healthcare community.

Assignment Type : Locum tenens (travel contract)

Physician Assistant Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in Pennsylvania

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in urgent care, emergency medicine, or a fast-paced clinical setting

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Current BLS certification

Strong communication and clinical skills

Urgent Care Physician Assistant Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive urgent care services to patients of all ages

Conduct patient assessments, diagnose acute conditions, and develop evidence-based treatment plans

Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate

Perform minor procedures, wound care, and other clinical interventions

Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
