High-visibility role supporting senior finance leadership Opportunity to grow into expanded finance or controller-level responsibilities Work in a mission-driven healthcare organization Exposure to multi-site operations and scalable finance systems Strong career progression in a growing company Job Details KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Financial Operations & Close Support the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations Review balance sheet accounts and investigate variances Partner with the Accounting Manager to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Assist with quarterly and year-end close activities Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare and analyze budget vs. actuals, trends, and variance explanations Support management reporting for operations and leadership Assist with forecasting and financial modeling in partnership with FP&A Provide ad hoc analysis to support decision-making Process Improvement & Controls Assist in improving accounting workflows, documentation, and controls Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation Help ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies Assist with system enhancements and process automation initiatives Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with operations, payroll, and HR on financial matters Work closely with the Accounting Manager on AP, expense management, and reconciliations Support onboarding of new clinics or acquisitions from a finance perspective ✅ REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 4–7 years of accounting or finance experience Strong understanding of month-end close, GL accounting, and reconciliations Experience in multi-location, services-based, or healthcare environments Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations) Experience working with ERP systems (Sage Intacct preferred) Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment ⭐ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Healthcare, behavioral health, or multi-site services experience Experience working in a PE-backed or high-growth environment Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or FP&A support Experience supporting audits or financial reviews Prior experience working alongside Controllers or Finance Directors Interested in hearing more?
