For more than 30 years, Pioneer Welding & Fabrication has delivered structural and miscellaneous steel solutions across Florida. The company’s reputation has been built the hard way : through precision in the shop, reliability in the field, and follow-through with our partners. As workload and client demand increase, Pioneer is adding a Construction Billing & Pay Applications Analyst to support disciplined billing execution and predictable cash flow across active projects.
This role sits at the center of the construction billing lifecycle. It requires strong organization, confident communication, and a commitment to accuracy. The successful candidate treats billing as mission-critical infrastructure, not clerical work. The right person thrives in a high-accountability environment and understands how high-quality billing supports field operations, vendor relationships, and schedule performance.
Primary Responsibilities
Prepare and submit monthly AIA and non-AIA pay applications. Coordinate invoice uploads, submissions, and tracking in platforms such as Procore, Textura, GC Pay, and related systems. Verify contract terms, retainage, and change order status with project management and accounting teams. Maintain accurate records of receivables, proactively follow up with general contractors, and process lien releases and compliance documents. Provide timely reporting to leadership to support cash flow forecasting and decision-making.
Qualifications
At least one year of billing, AR, or accounting experience in construction or a closely related field. Strong Excel proficiency and familiarity with GC billing platforms preferred. Excellent communication skills, consistent follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple obligations and deadlines across fast-moving projects. A disciplined, process-minded approach and willingness to adapt as systems evolve are essential.
What This Role Offers
Participation in a growing steel contracting operation with decades of reputation equity. Competitive pay aligned with experience and performance. Paid time off for full-time employees. Exposure to modern construction billing platforms and workflow development. A chance to play a direct role in strengthening financial execution that supports fabrication, field installation, and company growth.
Those who excel in this role bring structure, precision, and calm confidence to daily billing cycles. If you’re the type who takes pride in closing loops, documenting cleanly, and seeing projects move because the numbers are correct and the paperwork is tight, you will fit well here.
To apply, submit your resume and a brief summary of your construction billing or accounting experience.
