CASE WESTERN RESERVE UNIVERSITY / THE
METROHEALTH SYSTEM in Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking full time faculty
at an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in
the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and
Sleep Medicine. Candidates should be BC / BE in
Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. We are seeking a dynamic
individual to join our Division, which is an active and growing
academic program in a thriving urban health system, located in a
revitalized city. MetroHealth is an unusually supportive and
collaborative academic environment. Interest / experience in
conducting clinical and population health research is desirable,
but not required. The position is available immediately. Salary is
competitive and commensurate with experience.
MetroHealth
is an integrated health system in Northeast Ohio with more than 600
physicians, an acute care hospital which annually receives the
highest awards by the AHA and the ACC for its healthcare quality, 2
micro-hospitals, and more than 24 ambulatory centers throughout the

The MetroHealth System is
redesigning its main campus with an innovative
transformation plan to exceed the ever-changing
needs of patients and the surrounding community. This
billion-dollar transformation is the largest public construction
project in Cuyahoga County and one of the largest in the nation. In
the Fall of 2022 we opened a new psychiatric hospital in addition
to welcoming medical and surgical patients into our new Glick
hospital which includes 270 private rooms, 7 ICUs, and state-of-the
art facilities. MetroHealth’s new outpatient hospital, slated for
Spring 2026, will host expanded pulmonary care services—including
outpatient pulmonary and asthma clinics, sleep medicine, pulmonary
rehabilitation, diagnostic testing, and smoking cessation. We
