Warehouse Inventory Specialist
The position responsibilities are to ensure a high degree of warehouse inventory accuracy, by using a predetermined list of target items and physically counting the accurate quantity in the designated locations. Additional responsibilities include completing a location-by-location physical count from a predetermined list of warehouse locations. This position has a direct and immediate impact on the performance of the company.
Role and Responsibilities
Perform daily cycle counts and investigate discrepancies between physical and system with the supervisor
Back up employee for Marshalling and Material Handlers
Support bi-annual physical inventory
Create, analyze, and distribute daily reports assigned by Leadership
All other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
Education : High School Diploma / GED required.
Experience : 1+ year manufacturing experience preferred.
Skills : Team oriented, flexible, able to display effective communication skills, and strong analytical / problem solving skills. Must be able to read and write in English. Need to be able to work in a fast paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment. The ability to make timely decisions and provide feedback to each other. Must be well organized with solid time management skills. Flexible and ready to thrive in a constantly changing work environment.
Physical requirements : All employees for all positions must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 lbs. The ability to stand up for 8 to 10 hours a day, plus additional overtime as needed. The ability to work on a team of co-workers in close proximity to each other. Available to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
