Geosyntec has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer with at least 7 years (8+ preferred) of experience to join our land development and civil design team in our Richmond, Virginia office. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage projects from inception through completion, ensuring technical quality and client satisfaction.

• Mentor and provide guidance to early career professionals within the team.
• Perform detailed site-civil design, including grading, drainage, and utility layout.
• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for stormwater management and floodplain studies.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and obtain local, state, and federal permits for projects.
• Develop business skills relevant to consulting, such as client relationship management and proposal development
• Lead a team of early and mid career professionals to complete projects.
• Develop into a leader for an existing or future practice.
• Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed.
