Senior Analyst, Treasury Systems and Solutions

Join Capital One as a Senior Analyst in the Treasury division of our Capital Markets and Risk team. You will play a vital role in supporting our Treasury System and Business Solution team, which is dedicated to optimizing Treasury software applications for business users and data consumers. As a member of this innovative team, you will influence strategic technology decisions and help identify digital solutions to enhance capital markets products while promoting high levels of automation.

We are looking for a dynamic candidate with strong expertise in configuring SimCorp Dimension, who will help build an excellent support system and expand its integration within Capital One's finance teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Collaborate with stakeholders across Front Office, Middle Office, Accounting, Product, and Technology to develop effective solutions, improve processes, and resolve production issues.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable system change requirements.

Design and define solutions, including requirements, systems design, and recommendations to achieve desired business outcomes.

Execute configuration changes within the SimCorp Dimension system.

Work with business partners to create and document user acceptance test cases and negative test scenarios.

Develop, maintain, and deliver analysis, user manuals, training materials, and technical specifications.

Ensure solution integrity by engaging in software testing and quality assurance activities.

Participate in release planning and perform necessary validations.

Utilize cloud-based data management tools to create analytical, reporting, and automation solutions for internal customer cases.

Communicate progress and status updates effectively to team members and stakeholders.

Identify potential roadblocks to timelines and propose appropriate solutions.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent military experience.

Minimum of 1 year of experience configuring SimCorp Dimension.

At least 1 year of experience in business systems analysis.

A minimum of 1 year of experience in Capital Markets, Finance, or a combination thereof.

Preferred Qualifications :

3+ years of experience with SimCorp Dimension's IBOR and ABOR platforms.

Experience with SimCorp's technical functions such as Communication Server, Data Format Extracts, Services, etc.

3+ years of experience in Capital Markets, Accounting, or related areas in fixed income securities.

Proficiency in SQL, Python, or a similar programming language for over 3 years.

This position is not available for employment sponsorship. The salary range for this role is $109,000 - $124,400 for the McLean, VA area and $99,100 - $113,100 for the Richmond, VA area. Candidates hired in other locations will be compensated according to that area's salary structure. This role is also eligible for performance-based incentives including potential cash bonuses and long-term incentives.
