Position Summary
The Facilities Worker is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and condition of restaurant properties through consistent painting, landscaping, light carpentry, and deep cleaning. This hands-on role ensures that all restaurant locations reflect the company’s brand standards and provide a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for guests and staff.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Painting & Finishing
Perform touch-ups, repainting, and wall repairs across restaurant interiors and exteriors.
Maintain surfaces including walls, trim, doors, ceilings, and furniture.
Prepare and finish surfaces (patching, sanding, priming, and caulking).
Complete small carpentry projects such as installing or repairing shelving, baseboards, wall panels, and trim.
Repair or replace damaged furniture, millwork, and decorative elements.
Assist with minor fixture installations or replacements as needed.
Maintain restaurant exteriors including sweeping, power washing, trash removal, and basic landscaping.
Refresh outdoor planters and greenery; replace plants seasonally as needed.
Ensure signage, entryways, and patios are clean, presentable, and functional.
Assist in winterization of all facades and vestibules
Support RESET or maintenance cleaning days, ensuring kitchens, bars, and storage areas meet inspection standards.
Clean and organize maintenance storage areas and utility closets.
Organize and inventory commissary
Assist with setup for special projects, restaurant openings, or resets.
Report larger repair needs to the Facilities Manager.
Reports to : Facilities Manager / Director of Facilities
Works closely with : Restaurant General Managers, Executive Chefs, and Operations Teams
