JobsRUs.com, is a service-oriented staffing / recruiting company dedicated to working closely with our clients. We are currently hiring for a Monument Sandblaster in Carthage, NY.
Monday-Friday, 7am to 3.30pm (40 hours)
Pay Rate - $17-$18 DOE
Responsibilities
- Operate specialized equipment to engrave or texture memorial stones.
- The job requires knowledge of sandblasting techniques, safety procedures, and the ability to work with stencils and various stone materials.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Cleaning and maintaining the sandblasting equipment and work area.
- Communication Skills : Effectively communicating with team members and following instructions.
- Physical Stamina : The ability to stand for extended periods and handle the physical demands of the job.
- PPE required : Masks, gloves, eye protections, rubber boots but preferably steel toe.
