ER Registration Rep PRN - As Needed / Shifts Vary

Patient Registration Specialist

Responsible for timely and accurate patient registration. Interviews legal guardian for all pertinent account information and verifies insurance coverage. Ensures family focused processes in all that we do.

Reports To : ER / Outpatient Clinic Coordinator

Job Requirements :

Supervisory Responsibilities : No

Minimum Education : High School Diploma / GED

Degree : General

License / Certification Required : None

Minimum Work Experience : 6 months- 1 year related experience required. Medical office experience preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

• Typing speed must be at least 45 WPM.
• Good communication, organization, task planning and the ability to use a computer and various office machines are needed.
• Must be able to meet the active demands of alternately sitting, standing, walking and moderate to heavy telephone duties.
