Overview

The Finance Intern will assist the Finance team with responsibilities ranging from day to day accounting and finance activities to assisting in tasks associated with key department projects and initiatives.

Hybrid Schedule- M / F Remote, Tues / Weds / Thurs in office

Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned.

Support FP&A team on quarterly forecast / LBE effort

• Assist with day to day activities such as deduction validation and analysis, ledger account and bank reconciliations, analyzing variances and spending trends
• Run Analysis (AO) reports to analyze sales and profitability trends by key customer / category
• Assist in making month-end journal entries, issuing return and / or rebate credits, process documentation, and master data clean-up
• Help construct monthly results charts / graphs with explanations for management presentations
• Create necessary entries for monthly prepaid expense amortization
• Compare sales accrual history with actual fines / penalties and recommend changes
• Assist with commission and royalty payments and related reporting
• Assist with development of monthly price and cost tracking schedules
• Update quarterly obsolete inventory analysis spreadsheet
• Support accounting team members and help to reduce any current workload backlog
• Other related duties as assigned
