  • Unit Profiles : The purpose of a unit profile is to help provide an exceptional understanding of the unit.
  • Profiles will include location, number of beds, patient ratios, and other unique details to assist recruiting professionals in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff.
  • Data Collection : Unit Information : Location Address : Building : Franciscan East Floor : 2nd Order Detail : Workday Req # : Facility Cost Center : 73600 Discipline (RN, LPN, PT etc …) : RESPIRATORY THERAPY Specialty (Med Surg, ICU, L&D etc …) ICU, Med Surg, ER, NICU Quantity : 1 Target Start Date : ASAP Shift times : 6p - 6 : 30am - week schedules Call Requirements - none Weekends : Yes - Weekends are Friday, Saturday, Sunday every other weekend
  • General Information : Tell us about the unit(s) : Number of Beds – 160 Number of Staff – 28 Type of staff : Day Shift – Staff for days is 5-6 minimum. Night Shift – Staff for nights is 4-4.5 minimum. Patient Ratios – RVU System Type of equipment – Vents PB, Drager V500, Aerogon's, V60 Bi pap, HHFNC, Hamilton C transport, Oscillator, NITRIC EMR - EPIC
  • Typical hiring profile : Skill Set Most recruited for : Must have : Registered Respiratory Therapy credentials, ACLS, PALS, BLS, preferably NRP, or at least some NICU skills. Without these skills will may not be considered for the role. Please include required certs Acute care experiences with Med Surg, ER and ICU. Good time management with heavy loads at times. Experience managing Bi paps, ventilators and Heated High Flow units. Assisting with intubations, bedside bronchs and proficient EMR charting.
  • Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. List typical procedures performed on unit(s) : ICU / CCU, NICU and Emergency Care as an RT Best personality Fit : Willing to jump in and help with higher loads and higher acuity patients. Being independent and self-motivating.
