Director, Public Policy, South / Southeast US
As a leader on the State Policy team, you will work closely with the regional & functional policy teams, as well as the communications & legal teams on priority policy issues. These issues include : free expression, innovation, data privacy and security, online safety, and data center issues. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to help execute strategies on both reactive and forward-looking policies related to those and other issues as they arise. You will also coordinate strategic outreach to State-level policymakers, stakeholders, and industry. You will lead a team responsible for Meta's State policy outreach in 19 states in the South / Southeast U.S. This leader will have experience with State policy and management. They will understand policies and business priorities to function in a frequently changing environment. Proactive and independent, you will have the opportunity to create new processes, manage information in a visually appealing and easy-to-understand way, and help drive results across a team of communicators and policy professionals, understanding multiple perspectives and working to identify the best path forward.

$228,000 / year to $291,000 / year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
