About the Role
We are seeking warm, playful, and engaging Floor Time Players (Behavior Technicians) to work directly with children using relationship-based, play-centered intervention strategies. This role is ideal for candidates with previous experience as BT's, RBTs , or students pursuing degrees in Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Psychology, Education, or Nursing .
As a Floor Time Player, you will support children in building communication, emotional regulation, social interaction, and developmental skills through structured play, modeling, and individualized behavior support. You will receive training and ongoing support from a supervising BCBA or clinician.
Responsibilities
Provide 1 : 1 developmental and behavioral support to children using play-based and relationship-centered approaches.
Implement treatment goals designed by a BCBA, clinician, or supervising therapist.
Engage children in floor-time play sessions to promote communication, social skills, sensory regulation, and emotional connection.
Collect accurate data during each session and document progress.
Follow behavior intervention strategies and individualized treatment plans.
Collaborate with supervisors, parents, and clinical staff to support consistent progress.
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times.
Participate in team meetings, training, and skill-building opportunities.
Qualifications
Experience as a Behavior Technician, RBT , or equivalent hands-on experience working with children.
OR enrollment in / experience with a related field : OT, SLP, Nursing, Psychology, Education, Child Development.
A passion for working with children through play, interaction, and positive reinforcement.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow clinical guidance and accept feedback.
Reliable, patient, and comfortable engaging in active floor-based play.
