Exciting New Physical Therapy (PT) Opportunity!

  • Full-Time (no less than 30 hrs / week) | Great benefits|$10,000 welcome bonus| $42.60 - $50.91 / hr DOE

As a Physical Therapis t, you will provide services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of residents / patients suffering from injuries or disease. You will be responsible for developing treatment plans, monitoring progress, and providing guidance and support to patients throughout their rehabilitation process. What You'll Do :

  • Establishes and administers a treatment plan with specific therapy goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the physician.
  • Assesses patient needs; plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions.
  • Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
  • Sets realistic and achievable goals for patients / residents.
  • Documents and records the patients' / residents' condition and progress per state and federal regulations.
  • Educates patients and families in an appropriate therapy method.
  • Optimizes the functionality and skills of patients by providing, directing and / or overseeing the screening of all residents.
  • Adhere to Minimum Data Set (MDS) procedures and effective care planning.
  • Provides consultation and clinical supervision to PTA's working in the facility.

    • About You :

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate Degree from a college or university with an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current Physical Therapist license in WA
  • Current CPR certification
  • Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA.
  • General knowledge and understanding of managed care.
  • Knowledge of state and federal rules relating to therapy delivery and documentation in skilled nursing facilities.
