SUMMARY

Role in the electrical and controls technical support area. Primary focus is contributing as a key member of a technical team supporting plant production as a subject matter expert in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and automation controls support. This position will work with operations, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to resolve production downtime, identify root causes, and investigate, develop, and test machine and process improvements.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot problems and perform root cause analysis with other technical employees, suppliers, and external experts
• Develop and implement improvements to technical issues on machines and processes
• Ability to provide technical support and services to engineers, maintenance, and operations
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of the respective functional area supporting Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) including drawings, troubleshooting guides, preventative maintenance instructions
• Ensure work is performed in a manner that minimizes downtime
• Coach, guide, and train less experienced staff on technical topics
• Position may require after-hours (on-call) control system support for 24 / 7 production on a rotational basis

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $61,720-92,640.

PROFIT SHARING : In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
