Description :

DCH is seeking a Dialysis Nurse for a travel position.

The nurse will be required to float to other units and hospitals as needed.

Every other weekend and holidays may be required.

The dialysis unit has the ability to perform bedside and peritoneal dialysis.

The nurse will prepare and perform dialysis treatments on patients.

Dialysis nurse-to-patient ratios are 1 : 2 or 1 : 3.

The unit currently uses specific dialysis machines, with new models expected to be introduced soon.

An associate degree in nursing is required for this position.

Professional nursing certification is preferred.

The nurse must possess strong communication skills and be attentive to patient needs.
