ContinuumRx, the nation’s leading JV specialty and home infusion therapy expert, is seeking full-time (Certified) IV Pharmacy Technicians to add to our Birmingham Team. The ideal candidate needs to possess strong interpersonal skills, have an energetic self-starter personality, and exhibits compassion in caring for people.

• Mixes IV and other pharmaceutical preparations using proper sterile compounding techniques. Adheres to all documented instructions, warnings, and procedures and best practices to ensure safe and effective drug preparation.
• Performs environmental monitoring, sanitation, testing and other activities as required by applicable federal and state pharmacy regulations and USP-797.
• Maintains accurate drug inventory through purchasing, receiving, stocking, pulling, counting and tracking drug items in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Enters home medication list and lab results into CPR+ for the patient's profile (when available).
• Cleans ante-room and clean room according to USP-797 standards.
• Maintain clean room logs.
• Verifying lot numbers and performing a periodic check in inventory.
