Job Title : Cath Lab Technologist / Radiologic Technologist – Day Shift (Contract) Location : Belleville, IL 62226

Facility : Short-Term Acute Care Hospital (338 Staffed Beds)

Shift : Day, 4x10-Hour (06 : 30 – 17 : 00)

Contract Length : 13 Weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 40 per week

Minimum Experience : 2 Years

First-Time Travelers Accepted : Yes

Overview : We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist or Radiologic Technologist for a contract assignment at a leading acute care facility in Belleville, Illinois. This role involves working in both diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath labs, with floating required to Memorial East and Memorial Belleville campuses as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in cath lab or interventional radiology
  • ACLS, BLS, and ARRT certifications required
  • Pending state license accepted (must be obtained prior to start)
  • Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility
  • EPIC and PACS system experience required
  • Scrubs provided
  • Free parking available

    • Clinical Responsibilities :

  • Cardiac procedures : stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, IABP, Impella, left / right heart cath, PCI, PTCA, rotablader athrectomy, temporary pacemaker
  • Vascular procedures : angioplasty, upper / lower extremity angiography, central venous access, tunneled port placement
  • Preferred experience : TAVR, ASD closures, PA line insertion, carotid stenting, dialysis graft interventions, electrophysiology studies
  • Equipment : fluoroscopy required; Siemens preferred
  • Procedural duties : monitoring, equipment setup, access site prep, arrhythmia recognition, sterile field maintenance
  • Preferred skills : EKG lead placement, vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose), rapid response team participation

    • Scheduling & Compliance :

  • Weekend shifts required (variable)
  • On-call required : includes weekday and weekend coverage
  • RTO restrictions : maximum 7 days, must be submitted with initial application
  • Block scheduling not available
  • Full compliance required for timely start
