Data Center Technician | Mesa, AZ

Join a global leader in logistics and data center operations. Nexeo HR is hiring Data Center Technicians to support a global logistics and supply chain company’s high-tech data center in Mesa, AZ. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in computer hardware, IT assembly, or electronics production who want to grow in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

You’ll work alongside skilled technicians in a cutting-edge facility focused on server builds, hardware installation, quality control, and inventory support. If you have strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and enjoy hands-on work in a team setting, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install computer hardware, server components, and cabling following detailed schematics and diagrams.
• Perform quality inspections on materials, verifying part numbers, quantities, and component condition.
• Conduct inventory cycle counts and track spare parts, PPE, and departmental supplies in warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Process RMA returns and ensure accurate documentation and data entry in Excel and other internal tools.
• Use laser measuring tools and precision instruments to align and position server racks.
• Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, straddle stackers, rack movers) safely and efficiently.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for builds, documentation, and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with logistics and build teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality in all processes.
• Support other departments as needed through cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Pay

$19.50 per hour (Automatic $1.00 raise after permanent hire to $20.50 per hour)

Schedule

Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday – Friday, 6 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM | Saturdays either 6 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM OR 9 : 00 AM – 8 : 00 PM
