🔨What You’ll Do

• Perform multi-pass tack welding using the SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) process.
• Operate oxygen / propane torches for burning and heating.
• Read and interpret complex structural assembly drawings , blueprints, and weld symbols.
• Accurately measure and lay out piece parts for fabrication and assembly.
• Assemble structural components to exact specifications.
• Work in physically demanding environments such as shipyards or steel fabrication shops.
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA safety standards .
• Use vibratory tools like grinders and needle guns .
