Job description

Conduct work across OFR to support the design and implementation and enhancements to the existing SharePoint Online as well as ongoing Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support.

The candidate will leverage Microsoft Copilot (access Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and enterprise systems) to enhance productivity, automate business workflows, and support organization digital transformation. This role requires a mix of technology knowledge, business process understanding, and change-management skills.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities :

  • Champion adoption of Microsoft Copilot within the organization, identify high-value use cases.
  • Design, configure, and optimize Copilot integrations with Microsoft 365 apps (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Partner with business units to map workflows and embed AI assistance into daily operations.
  • Develop and deliver training, documentation, and enablement sessions for end users.
  • Serve as a SME on Copilot capabilities, limitations and governance.
  • Collaborate with IT / Security team to ensure compliance, data security, and responsible AI use.
  • Support continuous improvement by staying current on Microsoft Copilot updates and roadmap.
  • Administering and updating access controls, permissions, and security with respect to Copilot use.
  • Understanding of BI capabilities in SharePoint Online / O365.
  • Should be able to manage and create PowerApps / Power Platform
  • Assisting functional teams on how to optimize use of SharePoint Online sites and tools through training and the creation of manuals; and ongoing troubleshooting.

In addition to providing day-to-day O&M support, the contractor shall provide enhancements and solutions to the current SharePoint Online portals that will increase the functionality, productivity, and usage of the portal, and improve business processes within OFR and FSOC. These additional duties include but not limited to :

  • Designing, implementing and / or enhancing SharePoint Online site structure.
  • Creating and expanding the document management repository.
  • Addressing new requests which may require basic customization of SharePoint applications.
  • Gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Job Requirements :

    Education & Experience :

  • Experience in business process automation, digital transformation, or enterprise platforms.
  • 5+ years of experience in SharePoint Online(O365)
  • 5 + years of experience with PowerApps
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, 365 ecosystem and productivity apps.
  • Experience with Power Automate, Power BI, and low-code / no-code solutions.
  • Certifications :

  • Preferred certifications (e.g., MS-900, PL-900, or future Copilot specific certifications)
  • Security Clearance :

  • Must be able to obtain an Agency Specific clearance
  • US Citizen or permanent resident
  • Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.) :

  • Candidate is expected to come into the OFR's Washington DC office at least three days per week in order to provide onsite support.
