Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in processing full cycle payroll for a large workforce, managing accounts payable functions, and performing grant preparation work and reconciliations. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Overview of the Senior Accountant Role :

Process full cycle payroll for a workforce of 100+ employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.

Review and reconcile timecards to identify discrepancies and resolve payroll issues in a timely manner.

Work closely with employees to address payroll-related inquiries and provide assistance as needed.

Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense reporting.

Conduct grant preparation work, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Perform reconciliations of accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Preferred Experience for the Senior Accountant :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Experience in accounting, with a focus on payroll and accounts payable.

Proficiency in payroll processing software and accounting systems (e.g., ADP, QuickBooks, SAP).

Experience with grant accounting and reconciliations.
