About the Role : At Boston Scientific, we are dedicated to transforming lives through innovative medical solutions. In this leadership role, you will guide and develop a high-performing clinical team within our Rhythm Solutions division, supporting the Watchman Left Atrial Appendage Closure (LAAC) device a groundbreaking alternative to long-term blood thinners for stroke risk reduction in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation.

As a clinical leader, your work directly impacts patients by supporting a therapy that offers freedom from the burden of lifelong anticoagulation.

You will be instrumental in driving clinical excellence, team development, and operational efficiency across your region. By ensuring best-in-class clinical education and procedural support, you'll help improve patient outcomes and support the continued success of one of Boston Scientific's fastest-growing therapies.

Your Responsibilities Will Include :

Assess and identify clinical training needs, providing individualized coaching, development planning, and mentorship for direct reports.

Conduct final assessments to certify new Clinical Specialists and ensure clinical readiness.

Resolve scheduling conflicts and oversee coordination of regional coverage to support procedural needs across multiple territories.

Provide hands-on clinical education and procedural support as needed, including troubleshooting and supporting new team members in the field.

Champion the adoption of new technologies and help drive improved utilization, procedural efficiency, and outcomes for existing customers.

Collaborate closely with Regional Managers to ensure clinical alignment with broader sales strategy and territory performance goals.

Foster strong communication and collaboration with direct reports, Territory Managers, peers, and Area Vice Presidents to share clinical insights and market updates.

Lead national-level best practice sharing and knowledge exchange to elevate clinical excellence across the organization.

Oversee and approve clinical team travel expenses in alignment with corporate policies.

Ensure team compliance with company policies, procedures, and administrative standards with integrity and accountability.

Collaborate cross-functionally to provide creative, solutions-focused responses to customer needs (e.g., with Marketing, Sales, Technical Support).

Facilitate and manage training programs and events to support ongoing clinical development.

Conduct field-based performance evaluations, mid-year check-ins, and formal annual reviews with direct reports.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree plus 79 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

Clinical certification and deep understanding of Watchman or Access Solutions therapies, with proven success supporting implant procedures.

Strong business acumen and the ability to think strategically across clinical and commercial objectives.

Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and customer groups.

Familiarity with the local customer landscape and regional healthcare systems.
