Location: Scottsdale AZ (100% on site must be willing to relocate to Phoenix AZ to be considered)

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Product Owner to join our dynamic healthcare team. This candidate will report to the Product Manager and assist with healthcare software product development. You will work closely with the Product Manager and the development team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reinforce the defined product vision.
• Manage product roadmaps calendars and processes with a focus on strategic alignment and execution.
• Maintain and refine the team backlog ensuring prioritization aligns with milestones and deliverable dates.
• Write detailed requirements acceptance criteria and user stories to guide development efforts.
• Help to ensure intuitive user-friendly interfaces for healthcare professionals and patients.
• Provide input on wireframes prototypes and usability testing to align with product vision and regulatory standards.
• Perform functional testing of new features and updates to ensure accuracy and usability.
• Continuously improve processes for ticket grooming sprint planning and product documentation.
• Monitor and report on sprint performance velocity and productivity.
• Provide regular updates on product sprint and resource performance.
• Foster a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Healthcare IT or related field (or 10 years as a Healthcare Product Owner).
• 5 years of experience as a Healthcare Product Owner.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare systems (EHR/EMR/payer/provider platforms).
• Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance (HIPAA PHI PII)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (Jira Confluence)
• Understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Ability to collaborate with the team and contribute to usability improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable speaking to small groups and explaining concepts clearly.
• Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making.
• Self-directed and organized with the ability to manage scheduling.
• Experience with analytics tools such as Power BI (preferred).
