Manufacturing Specialist (Continuous Improvement)

This range is provided by Insight Global. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range

$70,000.00 / yr - $80,000.00 / yr

Requirements :

2-3 years of related work experience
Manufacturing industry background
Exigence implement process improvements to reduce cost, increase efficiency and improve working conditions, is preferred

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties :

Support company efficiency improvement projects intended to optimize production performance including but not limited to operational improvement processes, waste reductions, and problem solving methods.

Focus will be on continuous improvement processes using identified metrics that support safety, quality, delivery, and cost reduction initiatives.

Analyze current processes as well as research and analyze technical data to identify process inefficiencies and determine potential solutions and / or improvement opportunity areas.

Report on improvement suggestions and assist with implementation and training on approved improvement solutions.

Implement process improvements to reduce cost, increase efficiency and improve working conditions at all sites.

Analyze how process changes will affect overall production and the products.

Perform compliance auditing for 5S, standardized work, process point maintenance, and ownership maintenance.

Prepare detailed audit follow-up documentation with suggested improvements information.

Support manufacturing shop floor improvements at all sites.

Teach ADSNA 3 pillar fundamental classes.

Assist in prioritizing improvement plans to meet company goals, including long term forecasting / impact with all stakeholders.

Perform actual line-side time study analysis.
