Central Sterilization Technician

Insight Global is seeking to hire a CS Techncian to join our team in Wooster, OH on a contract basis. This individual will be responsible for the processing, re-processing, and sterilization of surgical instruments and supplies. This role requires detailed knowledge of individualized surgical cases and physician preferences, guided by preference cards.

Responsibilities will include :

Understands and adheres to sterilization parameters and manufacturer instructions for use.

Responds appropriately to sterilization failures and follows corrective procedures.

Participates in perioperative care planning by assessing patient physical and environmental needs.

Operates and maintains sterilization equipment including washers, ultrasonics, and autoclaves.

Performs biological indicator testing and documents results; follows protocols for test failures.

Uses appropriate PPE and follows infection control procedures during cleaning and decontamination.

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Prior experience in a medical or ambulatory center setting with working knowledge of sterilization parameters.
