Responsibilities Work in a Medical / Surgical Telemetry unit in a hospital setting Cares for adult and geriatric patients with various acute medical and surgical conditions Common cases include CHF, infection, cardiac cath, pacemaker, pneumonia, stroke, TIA, seizures, UTI, and others Provides post care for pacemaker and cardiac catheterization procedures Handles post care procedures including thoracentesis, chest tubes, cardiac and heparin drips, and peritoneal dialysis Night shifts with a 3x12 hour schedule from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00 Every other weekend required Responsible for monitoring telemetry and providing specialized post-procedural care Role includes managing a diverse, acute caseload and utilizing advanced cardiac and vascular monitoring Must provide two professional references for consideration Requirements Active MO or compact RN license Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Minimum of 2 years Medical / Surgical Telemetry RN experience Experience caring for adults and geriatric patients is required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-630868.
