Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a night shift contract requiring ARRT CT registration and at least 2 years of CT experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in a hospital radiology department in the CT Tech unit
  • Night shift schedule Tuesday through Friday, 8 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AM, with no weekends
  • No call requirements for this contract
  • All candidates, except Nurses and CSTs, must be nicotine free and will require a negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen within 12 months of start
  • Returning permanent staff must have a 1-year break in service from their last assignment before returning
  • Background must be free of open cases; all background hits are reviewed
  • PBDS assessment is waived, but ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate tests will be completed during orientation and require passing scores
  • Personal scrubs are required

  • Minimum of 2 years CT technologist experience required
  • At least 18 months of permanent CT experience must be completed prior to accepting a travel position
  • Current CT registration with ARRT is required
  • Current AHA BLS certification is required
  • An active state license is required if applicable; compact licenses are accepted for applicable start dates
  • At least one supervisory reference in CT from the past 12 months is required
  • All certifications and licenses must be active at the time of consideration
