Job Description

The Information Warfare (IW) Advisor provides expert-level support in assessing, coordinating, and implementing IW, Cryptology (CRY), and Electronic Warfare (EW) readiness for COMNAVSURFLANT. This position supports fleet integration, certification, and readiness across IW systems and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Track IW, CRY, and EW readiness through message traffic, correspondence, and directives.
• Assess policy changes for fleet impact and provide recommendations.
• Deliver IW / EW / Intel updates and readiness briefings to CNSL leadership.
• Liaise with Fleet Cyber Command, USFFC, and ISEA on capability requirements.
• Collaborate with NAVWAR, ATG, and IWTG to align IW readiness training.
• Prepare meeting minutes, reports, and briefing materials.
