Job description

We are seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Hematology / Oncology Physician to provide locum tenens coverage in a welcoming outpatient setting near Mercer, Wisconsin . This opportunity offers long-term stability as the facility continues its search for a permanent provider.

Assignment Details :

  • Start Date : April 21, 2025
  • End Date : Ongoing assignment
  • Coverage Type : Scheduled clinical hours only (no inpatient duties)
  • Practice Setting : Outpatient clinic
  • Shifts : MondayFriday, 8-hour days
  • Patients Per Shift : 1420
  • Call Requirements : None

Practice Requirements :

  • Fellowship in Hematology / Oncology is required
  • Must be board-eligible or board-certified in Hematology / Oncology
  • Active BLS certification is required
  • EMR System : Epic experience preferred
  • Hospital privileges required (no temporary privileges available)

    • Support Staff & Environment :

  • Collaborative environment with excellent support staff
  • Support Staff Includes :

    • RNs : 8

  • NPs / PAs : 1.1
  • Office Staff : 4
  • No supervision of advanced practice providers or residents required

    • Travel & Lodging :

  • Nearest Airports
  • Lodging recommendations include local hotels or Airbnbs in the area
  • Travel and malpractice insurance provided by the vendor
