We maintain and service specialized Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) vehicles and equipment for airports, municipalities, and private facilities. We are looking for a skilled ARFF Mechanic to join our team and keep our customer's fleet in top operational condition.

Position Overview :

The ARFF Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of ARFF trucks and related firefighting equipment. This role is essential to ensuring equipment is safe, reliable, and mission-ready at all times. Ideal candidate will be willing to travel locally and out of state to include overnight stays occasionally.

Key Responsibilities :

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair ARFF vehicles, pumps, foam systems, electrical systems, and chassis components
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety checks per NFPA and OEM standards
• Document all work performed, parts used, and inspections completed
• Work closely with airport operations and fire departments to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime
• Maintain compliance with FAA, NFPA, and OSHA regulations
• Respond to emergency repair needs when necessary
