AP / AR Bookeeper

About Our Client

Premier electrical manufacturing company based in Allentown, PA. This role is 5 days per week in office, and offers an individual with 2+ years of AP / AR bookkeeping experience a chance to work on a collaborative team at a stable electrical company in the area.

Job Description

This job will involve :

• AP :

Payment Processing : Prepare and process payments for approved invoices, township licenses, truck registrations and truck repairs, including checks, electronic funds transfers (EFTs), and Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions.

• Purchase Order Management : obtain purchase order, verify material was received, reconcile supplier's invoice with the purchase order, obtain necessary approval for payment, issue payment and file paid copy of purchase order in electronic folder.
• Invoice Processing : Receive, review, and process invoices. Match invoices with purchase orders and verify accuracy of billing details, pricing, and payment terms.
• AR :

Process credit card payments through Stripe.

• Prepare and process deposits and check posting to SAGE100.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have :

• 2 yrs AP & AR experience required
• 3-way matching experience with purchase orders
• Sage 100 or Sage Business Works, Sharepoint & Stripe ERP system experience preferred
• Industrial / Manufacturing industry experience preferred
• Ability to problem-solve
