• Must have CT experience and provide 2 fingerprint cards upon acceptance of position
• Provide radiographic / sonographic examination of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation
• Exercise professional judgment in performance of procedures applying principles of radiation protection
• Perform diagnostic medical radiography within department and other areas
• Maintain patient records and files and assume responsibility for departmental quality assurance program
• Must be able to work with patients of all age groups from newborn to geriatric adults
• Must be willing and able to take call and report to work within 20 minutes
• Must be able to perform duties in two fields of imaging and work outside of modality (Ultrasound, MRI, CT, Mammography)
• Rotate shifts as required and work well in stressful situations
• Transfer patients to and from radiology and assume department responsibility in supervisor's absence
• Required certifications : Current ARRT in Radiography or Current ARDMS in one category, BLS certification required within 45 days of start
• Clinical competency required within 3 months of hire and every three years
• Must pursue continuing education and maintain competency in ancillary modality
• Responsible for equipment care, record maintenance, and assisting with invasive procedures
• Must be able to perform venipuncture and follow standard precautions procedures
• Competent in sterile technique and tele-radiology transmission
