Responsibilities Position is in the hospital Operating Room (OR) Monday through Friday 8-hour day shifts from 0630 to 1500 Call required : short call after shift once per week and a 12-hour call shift approximately once per month No call room available; call back time must be within 30 minutes Patients include ortho, oncology, bariatrics, vascular, neuro, trauma, and robotics cases Robotic surgery and ortho / neuro experience required Epic EMR is used in this facility Floating required, with travelers prioritized and potential to float to sister campuses Must function as core staff and integrate into the team culture Scrubs provided by the hospital Orientation begins on Friday with a combination of remote learning and onsite badging All holiday and schedule requests must be submitted prior to consideration; no requests approved after submission First-time travelers will not be considered for this role Requirements Active FL or compact RN license required at time of application Current BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred Minimum 2 years of recent OR nursing experience required Previous travel nursing experience required Robotics and ortho / neuro case experience required If degree is not accredited, 5 years of experience required Driver’s license address must match the Board of Nursing address Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; cannot own or cosign property within 50 miles Experience with Epic EMR preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-632319.
