Position Information
The DUI Case Manager, as part of an interdisciplinary team, assesses DUI participants' needs, criminal case requirements, and treatment plans to connect participants to community resources with the objective of helping them out of the criminal justice system and into lives of recovery and stability.
This position is funded through external grant support. Continuation of the position, as well as its hours, is contingent upon the ongoing availability of grant funding or the identification of alternative funding sources.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in criminal justice or a similar field of study (social work, psychology, human development), and at least two years of experience as a case manager, social worker, or similar role in criminal justice, substance abuse treatment, mental health, or a similar setting. Spanish speaking candidates are preferred.
Conditions of Employment
Majority of work is completed in a general office environment with exposure to moderate levels of noise in a well-lit, well-ventilated and fast paced environment; continuously required to read computer screen. Work outside of normal work hours may be required, including evenings and weekends. Occasional travel is required, 5% or less; travel is regional in scope requiring travel by driving or flying.
