Job description

Job Overview

Title : Entry-Level Attorney / Pre-Litigation Associate (remote, contract-to-hire) for a growing employment law firm located in California. The role is fully remote and offers conversion to permanent employment after a 3-month contract.

Base pay : $40.00 / hr – $45.00 / hr.

Responsibilities

  • Serve on the negotiation team as a pre-litigation attorney, communicating with opposing counsel to assess settlement and mediation possibilities.
  • Assist with employment law matters and pre-litigation strategy.
  • Coordinate with the client and internal stakeholders to develop negotiation tactics.

    • Qualifications

  • Law degree and admission to the California Bar.
  • California residence.
  • Willingness to work on a 3-month contract with potential conversion to a permanent role.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
