Shift- Day Shift , Monday through Friday

Yes. New York State Clinical Laboratory License

Shift / Time Zone :

Day Shift, EST, Monday-Friday (8am-430pm)

Overview

The Hospital Laboratory Manager is responsible for all Hospital Laboratory Management and delivering on contract obligations. Ensures quality control and follow-up procedures are developed and implemented. Collects and analyzes data and prepares a variety of analyses and reports. Act as leader of the hospital laboratory activities and as part of the overall strategy of the Professional Lab Services (PLS) team to service and grow our business through hospital partnerships. Ensures Laboratory Supervisor(s) are effectively performing duties. The Hospital Laboratory Manager is accountable for the accuracy and reliability of all services provided by the departments under his / her supervision. Ensures policies and practices meet all regulatory standards and requirements.

Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Work Experience :

5 or more years managerial experience in the laboratory industry.

Preferred Work Experience :

Prior managerial hospital experience. Must demonstrate ability to lead or manage through supervisory or area lead responsibilities.

Knowledge / Skills :

EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree : Master's Degree

LICENSECERTIFICATIONS Current State Clinical Laboratory Scientist license if necessary (e.g. California)(Required)
