A company is looking for an Appeals Clerk to provide administrative support for the Eligibility Appeals Operations Support Project.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze appeals data and ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations
Issue informal resolutions based on appeal case reviews and contact appellants for additional information
Utilize specialized tools to update appellant applications and ensure proper processing of benefits coverage
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
At least two years of related experience required; more than two years in healthcare or appeals preferred
Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel, or Access
Ability to type 35 words per minute accurately
Must reside in the Continental US and meet home office requirements for internet connectivity
