JerseySTEM is hiring : MKTG303 : Graphic Designer in Tucson

Overview

This is a pro-bono volunteer position.

JerseySTEM is a grassroots non-profit organization dedicated to offering innovative opportunities and bridging the gender gap in STEM education for children in New Jersey’s underserved communities. We are dedicated to partnering with local schools, parents, and educators to create and enhance STEM-oriented educational opportunities for students in grades 5-8 as part of their paths towards college and career readiness. We provide free after-school, project-based, and hands-on structured programs in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Classes include : Robotics, Coding, Engineering, Life Sciences, etc. Classes last up to 10 weeks and are predominantly taught by trained volunteer college students.

Responsibilities

• Be able to design compelling graphic and visual content.
• Prepare rough layouts of artwork for presentation and approval.
• Use creative skills in Photoshop and Illustrator to create marketing collaterals.
• Willingness to take on responsibility and work in a team.
• Commitment to excellence and meeting company expectations.
• Drive to complete assignments on time and effectively.

Qualifications

This is a pro-bono volunteer position.
